Tribe of Asher is an experiential marketing agency. We bring brands and organizations into
curated, connected experiences to build and serve a loyal audience.
We spark intimate connections for life. Journey with us...
The Gathering Place is our community space, welcome.
Known for its fertile land and olive trees, the Tribe of Asher, one of twelve in Biblical history, supplied all of Israel with olive oil in times of famine. They shared their resources in a way that would cultivate a nation of people. Their tribe gave meaning to the word “communal”, and by literal translation, Asher means “blessing”. Their people were known for their beauty from the inside out.
Our Tribe of Asher is on a journey to breathe life into others through story and to enjoy the process every step of the way. We empower communities around us by way of producing experiences that will leave people engaged, inspired and stronger together than when they first arrived alone.
Our door is always open, and we love travel buddies. We call ourselves a Tribe because we collaborate with artists who
resonate with the experience ethos while challenging us to deepen the Tribe of Asher vision in each project we embark upon.
On the note of our work slate...the culinary design and events branch of Tribe of Asher is always evolving, from producing Act One Inc. alumni events to a healthy range of film and commercial art design. Our film production slate of work has also evolved over the years, from scripted to non-scripted narratives, and our commercial content spans brands and organizations like Hudson Jeans, Fuller Theological Seminary, Mothers of Preschoolers, and Habitat for Humanity. Prior to starting Tribe of Asher, Dawn LaMattina Asher worked for productions such as Cartoon Network’s Dude What Would Happen and MTV’s Punk’d, and independent films such as The Artist and Not That Funny.

Dawn LaMattina Asher is the Founder & Executive Producer of Tribe of Asher. She got her start in the entertainment trailer industry as a copywriter and producer for major studio film, television and home video advertising. It is from her background in marketing that stemmed her career in storytelling for film and entertainment and live event experiences.
Dawn’s passion for telling true stories, through compelling documentary film, commercial and television work, has grown her craft
for producing live events that connect people on an authentic level and cultivate impactful experiences.
Dawn is a graduate of the University of Southern California, with a bachelor’s degree from the Annenberg School for Communication. She was born in Long Island, NY and grew up in Atlanta, GA. She now calls Los Angeles home, where she has grown roots with her husband, Jeff.
Thanks to marrying this guy, she was able to name her company Tribe of Asher. Together,
they are the smitten parents of Sicily Jean, the cutest baby girl ever.
Dawn is Italian by descent, but didn’t really like olives until she was older.
She enjoys a good hike, camping and would like to try “glamping” one day.
